Big baby!

Pre-pregnancy I was barely a size 6 (UK) and my hips were only 31 inches wide and midwife thinks i'll be having a big baby! She said she thinks I probably won't get to 40 weeks and that baby will probably just come a bit early but what if she doesn't?! My pelvis has already started to seperate so imagine if she keeps growing like she is! Gah!

mother nature rarely give us babies we can't handle, that's not to say it doesn't happen, but there is little you can do, if she ends up being to big to birth then you may have to have a csec, but that's better than a prem baby isn't it!

i had a big baby hun and my birth was perfect
no1 expected her to be so big because im quite small too, but like hanna said, our bodies can handle it x

Hey! Sorry i've taken weeks to reply, been having tinternet issues! Thank you though, i'm feeling a bit more reassured now. I've got a midwife appointment on Tuesday so we'll see what she says then

the amount of times midwives and docs and people scare us girls is stupid. i wouldnt take any notice hun they can hardly tell! even scans can be inaccurate. i was told alice was going to be big and she was 7lb 12oz which is an average size baby. someone i new got told she was going to have a big one and he was 6lb summin. i really wouldnt worry too much like the other girls said its very rare that we produce babies that are too big for us x

hi my boy was 9lbs 2oz and i was told he was gonna be about 7lb lol x
