Confused...

Hi everyone!
Evelyn is only 12 weeks old so I feel terrible for saying this
but when I got my period this morning I was overwhelmed by how upset I
was. I know that the right thing to do is to wait because we wouldn't
be able to cope financially and we have to wait a year before we can
move to a bigger house but I hate having to wait. I've currently got
the implant fitted so it's unlikely that i'll get pregnant until I have
it removed but I guess because I know people who got pregnant while
using contraception, I can't help wishing it'll fail! I've told OH that
i'm broody and I think it freaks him out so i've laughed it off a bit
with him but I just feel really empty today .
I feel terrible for this post because I have a beautiful 12 week old
daughter who I love to bits...I guess i'm just a bit confused! xxx

this is normal, I heard this could also be caused by hormones that still haven't gone back to normal after birth.
I'm broody too, and I have to wait forever

I'm broody too I think it's because you're watching that little baby grow up so fast! One minute they're a newborn the next they're not and I'm finding it quite sad in one way at how fast Laila is growing which makes me more broody lol

Yeah that'd make sense! Before my period came though I was waiting for it like "Shit, I hope i'm not pregnant" and then when it came I was all upset. Damn hormones! Our LOs grow way too quickly don't they! I saw a teenie newborn in town all snuggled up on his mummy and although I don't miss not being able to sleep, I miss Evelyn sleeping on me like a baby monkey. She's already getting too cool for me!

Yea! I was saying to my OH yesterday that Laila used to love lying on my chest now I do it and she wriggles to get off lol it is sad how fast they grow, I feel like each month she needs me less and less which is silly I know but I'll be so sad the days I have to let go and let her go to nursery/school etc haha slow down growing LO's!
