Expressing

So I was just wondering if any one here expresses, we BF mainly, but I try to express 2-3 bottles a week for him to make sure he's used to them incase I go out, how much do you manage to express, I normally get 3oz between both sides with my electric pump, but it wasn't sterilised and my hand pump was so I used that and managed 3oz on one side am rather chuffed

Depends when I express, if I do it between feeds I only get about 3oz from both, but quite often I'll pump first thing in the morning, and I can get 7oz total, and still have plenty left for her! I use a Medela Harmony Manual Pump

Ahh I should try first thing, I will tomorrow

After a shower I always seem to get more as well
